Job summary

QBE Asia is seeking a senior Claims Value & Engagement professional to elevate the value of Asia Claims by crafting compelling client and broker materials, promoting capabilities and success stories, and driving market-facing thought leadership across Singapore and Malaysia. The role focuses on growth, retention and differentiated service delivery within a multinational insurance context.

Qualifications

• Broad experience in commercial insurance claims across a range of product lines.
• Experience working in a senior team within a multi-national insurance environment.
• Experience collaborating with internal functions such as underwriters and business development.
• Regular contact with brokers and external customers.
• Previous experience in external customer contact and liaising with various business disciplines.
• History of collaborative work with Claims, Business, and Customer populations.
• Working knowledge of the insurance process from application to claims resolution.
• Experience with distribution channels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Asia Claims' value proposition, service pledges and capability materials.
• Support new business, retention and strategic opportunities through compelling client-facing materials.
• Ensure Claims capabilities, achievements and success stories are consistently updated and demonstrated
• Proactively identify, capture and promote claims outcomes, initiatives and success stories that demonstrate the value and impact of Claims.
• Develop key client engagement plans, materials and packs
• Leverage claims insights and risk intelligence to influence actions, strengthen engagement and demonstrate value of claims beyond claims handling
• Be the Voice of Customer in Claims and translate feedback into service improvement opportunities
• Identify themes from external feedback, drive improvement actions and demonstrate outcomes back
• Partner with Data & Analytics teams to maintain external-facing Partner Analytics and deliver quarterly claims communications that help customers and brokers understand claims performance, portfolio trends and risk insights.
• Develop and maintain the Asia Claims Success Story Library showcasing customer outcomes, innovation and business impact
• Promote significant Claims achievements and milestones
• Create engaging and impactful narratives that enable stakeholders to advocate for Asia Claims
• Increase visibility of Claims contributions across customers and partners.
• Develop, publish thought leadership materials leveraging Claims insights and risk intelligence e.g. via LinkedIn
• Coordinate market-facing activities including awards, conferences and industry engagements
• Build and maintain relationships and networks across Market.
