Job summary

Liberty Asia Pacific is seeking a Senior Risk Engineer in Singapore to support Underwriting and Claims teams for the Casualty line. The role involves planning, organizing, and evaluating risks through desk reviews and on-site surveys to enable profitable underwriting decisions and effective claims mitigation.

Qualifications

• Significant relevant experience in the General (non-Life) Insurance industry preferable.
• Familiarity with risk engineering concepts, risk assessment, and risk mitigation.
• Strong PC skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related databases.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise, and perform desk-based risk appraisals for the Casualty line of business to provide risk analysis information to Underwriters.
• Conduct on-site risk engineering surveys for existing and prospective Clients, producing either a brief summary report or a detailed marketing risk engineering survey report as required.
• Provide technical input on claims including review of claims reports and site visits to identify areas for claims mitigation and recommendations for improvement.

Bachelor of Science in technical discipline (Chemical, Process, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering)
