Job summary

Amazon Web Services Singapore is seeking a Senior Data Sales Specialist for ASEAN to lead strategic data conversations with CIOs and senior executives. You will own the full data, analytics, storage, and governance dialogue and connect it to AI outcomes, building a path to close multi-million opportunities across ASEAN.

The role requires a blend of consultancy and sales, with a track record of large, complex technology deals and experience in multi-country regions.

Qualifications

Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals.
Experience engaging and presenting to senior executives (CXO level).
10+ years in enterprise technology sales with quota ownership, selling to commercial or enterprise customers.
3+ years of direct field sales experience across two or more of: databases, analytics, storage, data governance, or data platform solutions.
Technical fluency - able to whiteboard a modern data architecture and engage with engineering teams.
Experience selling into ASEAN markets or comparable multi-country territories.

Responsibilities

Operate across the CXO level and set the agenda in the room.
Reframe the customer with a point of view that ties data estate to business outcomes and AI use cases.
Sell the full platform, positioning AWS as the integrated data estate foundation.
Win transformations via data estates and migrations with consultative POV.
Engage with partners and GSIs to drive deals and pipeline.
Own the number and forecast a concentrated pipeline with conviction.
