Job summary

IS CLEANING SERVICES PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an Area Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations across assigned sites. You will lead cleaning teams, supervise Cleaning Supervisors, and ensure service standards are consistently met to satisfy clients.

The role requires coordinating manpower, inspecting sites for quality, and liaising with clients to address feedback. You must comply with NEA standards, maintain safety practices, and support new site mobilization as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the cleaning services or facilities management industry.
• Experience supervising cleaners or managing cleaning operations.
• NEA cleaning-related training or certification (preferred).
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily cleaning operations across assigned sites to maintain high service standards.
• Lead, guide, and monitor cleaners and Cleaning Supervisors to ensure proper work performance and adherence to protocols.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify cleaning standards and service quality are consistently met.
• Monitor manpower deployment, attendance, and work schedules to optimize operational efficiency.
• Arrange manpower coverage and provide support during staff shortages to maintain uninterrupted service.
• Train and guide cleaners on proper cleaning methods, equipment usage, and workplace safety to enhance team competency.
• Ensure cleaning equipment, tools, chemicals, and materials are properly used, maintained, and stored safely.
• Handle client feedback and service requests promptly, following up on corrective actions to improve satisfaction.
• Ensure assigned sites comply with company procedures, safety requirements, and NEA cleaning standards.
• Conduct quality checks and take appropriate corrective actions to resolve service issues effectively.
• Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to Management for informed decision-making.
• Assist with new site mobilization, manpower deployment, and operational arrangements to support business growth.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management to meet organizational needs

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving license

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the cleaning services or facilities management industry
• Previous experience supervising cleaners or managing cleaning operations
• Good knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and workplace safety
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective team and client interactions
• Ability to manage manpower and handle multiple work sites efficiently
• Ability to work independently and respond promptly to operational issues
• Willingness to travel between assigned work sites
• Relevant NEA cleaning-related training or certification
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin to facilitate communication with employees, site personnel, and clients
