Job summary

Well Smart Group in Singapore seeks an architecture intern to join live projects, liaise with architects, engineers and consultants, and track design deliverables from concept to construction. You’ll prepare agendas and minutes, review drawings, and use AI tools to summarise documents and draft correspondence.

Eligible students in BA (Arch) or M.Arch programs can apply. The role offers hands-on exposure across hotel, resort and villa projects, with a monthly allowance and a potential full-time

Qualifications

• Enrolled in architecture or related built environment degree and eligible for internship
• Able to read architectural drawings and understand design development
• Organised with strong follow-through and agenda management
• Confident in English communication via emails, minutes and meetings
• Comfortable with Excel/Sheets for data and tracking
• Hands-on use of AI tools for summarising and drafting

Responsibilities

• Join project meetings from week one and own follow-up on live projects
• Liaise with architects, engineers and consultants and keep briefs up to date
• Track design deliverables, dates and open issues to closure
• Review drawings/reports against brief and consolidate team comments
• Prepare meeting agendas, minutes and action lists, follow up on actions
• Track RFIs, submittals and design changes as projects move into construction
• Prepare progress updates for the Director
• Use AI tools daily to summarise documents and draft correspondence

What you’ll do

From your first week, you'll join project meetings and own the follow-up on live projects.

• Liaise with architects, engineers and other consultants, and keep everyone working to the latest brief and drawings
• Track design deliverables, programme dates and open issues, and follow each one up until it is closed
• Review drawings and reports against the brief and project requirements, and consolidate comments from the team
• Prepare meeting agendas, minutes and action lists, and follow up on agreed actions
• Track RFIs, submittals and design changes as projects move into construction
• Prepare progress updates and short reports for the Director
• Use AI tools every day to summarise documents, draft correspondence and keep trackers up to date

Who we’re looking for

• Currently enrolled in an architecture or related built environment degree, such as BA (Arch) or M.Arch at NUS, or ASD or M.Arch at SUTD, and eligible for your school’s internship programme
• Able to read architectural drawings and understand how a design develops from concept to construction documents
• Organised, with strong follow-through: you track open items and chase them until they are done
• Confident communicator in English, in emails, minutes and meetings with consultants
• Comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets
• Hands-on use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude or similar) for research, summarising and drafting

Nice to have

• Revit or other BIM software, enough to navigate and review a model
• Exposure to project or design management through an internship, studio project or competition
• Working Mandarin, to read Chinese-language product data and work with suppliers and contractors in China

No prior work experience needed.
