Job summary

CHINA HARBOUR (SINGAPORE) ENGINEERING COMPANY PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Architect/Project Coordinator to work on large-scale construction projects in Singapore.

You will assist the Architect in coordinating design details among clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring alignment with project requirements, regulations, and safety standards. Qualifications

• A degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or related field is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in architectural design and project coordination on large-scale projects.
• Familiarity with local building codes, safety regs, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit and BIM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Architect in coordinating design details between clients, consultants, and contractors to align designs with project requirements, regulations, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop architectural designs, schedules, and construction plans.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and milestones to ensure progress aligns with goals.
• Review project specs, tender clarifications, and drawings to assist in contract and procurement management.
• Resolve on-site architectural issues, such as drawing discrepancies and method statements, and correspondences.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure construction aligns with approved plans.
• Work with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to solve technical issues as they arise.
• Coordinate the preparation and submission of architectural drawings, shop drawings, mockups, and material samples for proper implementation and approval.
