Job summary

JGP Architecture (S) PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a Senior Architect to lead project teams, manage timelines, budgets, and resources while collaborating with clients to translate requirements into design solutions.

You will provide technical guidance, mentor junior architects, and ensure compliance with Singapore codes and high design standards. A recognised architectural degree and Qualified Person registration preferred; minimum 5 years' experience in high-rise and mixed-use developments.

Qualifications

• Recognised Architectural degree; Qualified Person registered with the Singapore Board of Architects preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in high-rise HDB and private condominiums, healthcare / institutional, hospitality & mixed-use commercial developments.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore building regulations, codes, design development & detailing.
• Capable of leading teams and managing projects independently without supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated with good time management.

Job description

• The Senior Architect will be responsible for leading project teams, managing project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• The Senior Architect will work closely with clients to understand their requirements and to develop designs that meet their needs.
• The Senior Architect will also provide technical guidance to project teams and mentor junior architects to ensure that the highest design standards are met.

Requirement:

1. Possess a recognised Architectural degree and preferably a Qualified Person registered with the Singapore Board of Architects.
2. Minimum 5 years’ experience in high-rise HDB and private condominiums, healthcare / institutional, hospitality & mixed-use commercial developments.
3. Good knowledge and well versed in Singapore building regulations and codes, design development & detailing.
4. Must be capable of being a Team Leader and take responsibility in managing projects independently without supervision.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Good working attitude, proactive & conscientious.
7. Self-motivated with good time management skills.
8. Ability to supervise and manage a team in achieving project goals, targets, and milestone dates.
9. Familiar with BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Sketchup.
