Job summary

Ho Lee Construction Pte Ltd is seeking an on-site Architect/Engineer to plan, coordinate, and supervise architectural works on diverse building or civil projects. You will ensure drawings comply with structural, mechanical and electrical systems while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Applicants should possess a Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil, or Structural Engineering and have at least 3 years of experience in building or civil engineering projects.

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings.
• Familiarity with BIM/VDC tools is a plus.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Assistant Project Manager, Site Manager, or Project Engineer.
• Plan and coordinate architectural works on-site for timely execution.
• Supervise and inspect construction activities for quality and specification compliance.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders on design challenges.
• Review drawings ensuring alignment with structural, mechanical, and electrical components.
• Ensure compliance with EHS requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor progress and resolve design-related issues.
• Support submission of drawings, material samples and method statements.
• Liaise with project team to resolve discrepancies and update milestones.
• Lead RC workers to achieve project objectives if applicable.

Job Duties:

• Report to the Assistant Project Manager, Site Manager, or Project Engineer.
• Planning and coordination of architectural works on-site to ensure timely and efficient execution.
• Supervise and inspect construction activities to confirm compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to address technical and design-related challenges.
• Review architectural drawings and ensure alignment with structural, mechanical, and electrical components of the project.
• Ensure compliance with EHS requirements, regulations and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor progress and resolve issues related to design and detailing, ensuring a seamless workflow.
• Support the submission of architectural drawings, material samples and method statements as required.
• Liaise with the project team to resolve discrepancies and provide timely updates on project milestones.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the management to support project delivery.
• Lead and guide RC (Reinforced Concrete) workers, if applicable, to achieve project objectives.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil, or Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in building or civil engineering projects.
• Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings.
• Familiarity with BIM/VDC tools is a plus.
