Job summary

NAKANO SINGAPORE (PTE) LTD seeks an experienced construction professional to coordinate architectural, structural, and M&E works on site, ensuring compliance with drawings and specs while driving project progress.

You will attend technical meetings, manage site issues, and prepare ISO-auditable documentation, with a strong emphasis on safety and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimun 10 years of relavent construction experience.
• Relevant Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Building Construction, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of BIM and Green Mark will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and local building regulations.
• Ability to coordinate architectural, structural, and M&E works effectively.
• Experience working with a Main Contractor is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with consultants/subcontractors on drawings, samples, method statements; update all involved parties.
• Attend project/technical meetings; resolve site issues with owner/consultants.
• Verify work on site matches drawings/specs and ensure rectifications.
• Resolve site issues quickly with consultants/subcontractors to reduce delays.
• Prepare documentation for ISO audits.
• Cooperate with safety department within safety framework.
• Assist site management in planning and coordination.
• Plan and schedule construction work sequences.
• Prepare documents for authorities' submissions (CONQUAS, RI, TOP).
• Study tender/drawings, specs, and contracts to understand needs.
• Understand critical project criteria for schedule and productivity.
• Be a team player and work in cross-functional teams.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently, proactive and self-motivated.
• Guide new staff / junior staff.

• To coordinate with consultants / subcontractors on the shop drawings / samples / method statements and keep all involved parties updated of the latest changes.
• To attend to project / technical meeting and resolve site issues with owner / consultants in order for the site progress to proceed smoothly.
• To verify the work done on site are in accordance to the approved drawings / specifications / authority's requirement and also ensured that the subcontractor carry out rectification for non-compliance.
• To resolve site issues with consultants / subcontractor / supplier ASAP in order to minimize delay to the construction progress.
• To ensure that the related documentations are updated and ready for ISO audit.
• To cooperate with the safety department and carry out the assigned duties within the safety framework.
• Assist site management team in project Planning & coordination.
• Plan and schedule work sequences for construction operation.
• Arrange and prepare documents for authorities' submission for CONQUAS, RI, TOP etc.
• To study tender / construction drawings, specifications, and contracts to understand project requirements.
