Job summary

Sembcorp Specialised Construction in Singapore seeks an Architectural Associate to contribute to design development and construction projects. You will work with design and construction professionals to translate client briefs into feasible architectural concepts.

You will prepare and present design proposals, support building-plan submissions, and assist in tender processes, contract and construction management, and project handover procedures, including TOP/CSC compliance.

Qualifications

• Masters in Architecture or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural practice.
• Familiar with BIM (Revit), SketchUp, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Projects, AutoCAD and Photoshop.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for construction project brief formulation, design conceptualization and presentation.
• Prepare and submit building plans and Building Plan clearances
• Formulate and provide Architectural details & specifications
• Assist in tender process
• Contract and construction management
• TOP & CSC procedures including completion/ handover of project

Purpose and Scope

• The Architectural Associate plays a pivotal position in design and development of projects, interacting and consulting with design and construction professional counterparts.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for construction project brief formulation, design conceptualization and presentation.

• Formulate and provide Architectural details & specifications

Qualification, Skills and Experience:

• Masters in Architecture or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experiences in Architectural practice (e.g. development of master plans, power plants, warehouses, offices, residential, additions & alterations works)
• Familiar with BIM (Revit), SketchUp, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Projects, AutoCAD and Photoshop
• Only Singaporeans will considered due to the sensitive nature of the job
