Job summary

Sembcorp Industries Ltd is seeking a Senior Engineer – Civil and Structure to lead planning, design and execution of civil and structural works within the built environment. You will ensure technical excellence, regulatory compliance and structural integrity across all project phases.

You will guide project teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and resolve engineering challenges to deliver safe, sustainable, and cost‑effective construction outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for project planning and site supervision.
• Coordination for civil structure, architectural, mechanical and electrical works.
• Ensure site safety and prepare safe work procedures with Safety personnel.
• Prepare risk analysis and method statements.
• Coordinate with consultants and sub-contractors.
• Ensure the smooth completion of the project.

The senior engineer provides expert guidance to project teams, coordinates with stakeholders, and resolves complex engineering challenges to support safe, sustainable, and cost‑effective construction outcomes.

• Coordination for civil structure, architectural, mechanical and electrical works
• Ensure site safety and prepare safe work procedure with Safety personnel

• Coordinate with consultants and sub‑contractors
• Ensure the smooth completion of the project

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of related experience
• Possess both Civil & Structural and Architectural knowledge and experience
• Construction Safety Course for Project Managers
• Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course
• Job involves sensitive work which requires security clearance; only Singaporeans will be considered
