Job summary

AWP PTE. LTD. is seeking an architectural assistant in Singapore to support the Project Architect with design presentations and drawing production. You will participate in daily executive tasks, meetings, and coordination with consultants, suppliers, and site teams.

The role involves assisting in concept and detail design development, tender docs, and construction drawings, with opportunities to contribute to submission drawings and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Fresh graduates may apply.
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD and SketchUp.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Architect with design presentations and drawing production.
• Support day-to-day executive work and prepare meeting minutes.
• Liaise with suppliers’ representatives for building specifications.
• Report to the Project Architect on design and technical matters.
• Assist in conceptual and detail design development.
• Prepare tender documentation and construction drawings.
• Assist Senior Project Executive in submission drawings and documents.
• Assist with liaison to consultants, site inspections and coordination of construction documents.

Specific Responsibility, Accountability & Authority:

• 1. Responsible to the Project Architect and will liaise with the Senior Project Executive and Technicians.
• 2. Assist in the day-to-day executive work including design presentations, production of drawings, project correspondence and meeting minutes.
• 3. Liaising with suppliers’ representatives for building specifications.
• 4. Reports to Project Architect on all design and technical matters.
• 5. Assist in conceptual & detail Design Development.
• 6. Tender Documentation and Construction Drawings
• 7. Assis the Senior Project Executive in the preparation of submission drawings and documents.
• 8. Assistant to Project Architect in regard to the following:-
  • Liaison with consultants.
  • Site inspection
  • Attend consultants / site meetings
  • Assist in the architectural co-ordination, organisation & preparation of construction documents and drawings.
  • Preparing drafts of the following:-
    • Minutes of meeting
    • Material specifications and schedule of finishes
  • Liaison with suppliers & contractors.
