Job summary

HUAY ARCHITECTS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced architect to assist the Senior Architect and collaborate with the design team on conceptual designs, presentations and development documents.

You will prepare architectural plans using REVIT, conduct materials research, and participate in client meetings to understand project goals. Site visits and liaising with authorities are part of the role, with opportunities for professional development and licensure support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant architectural experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit & BIM, Sketchup, Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, building systems, and construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Architect in his/her duties.
• Collaborate with the design team to develop conceptual designs, presentations, and design development documents.
• Prepare architectural plans, elevations, sections, and details using REVIT.
• Conduct research on materials, construction techniques, and relevant building codes.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to understand project goals and requirements.
• Prepare and update tender documentation and construction drawings.
• Attend site visits and resolve site-related architectural issues.
• Liaise with authorities to obtain necessary statutory approvals.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, materials, technologies, and architectural best practices.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and support the pursuit of architectural licensure.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
• Prepare Feasibility Studies/ EOI/ Architectural Competitions as and when required
