Job summary

EDP CONSULTANTS PTE. LTD. is seeking an Architect Assistant in Singapore to support architectural and structural design projects.

The role involves preparing drawings, coordinating design information, and assisting with project documentation under engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients. The candidate should have a background in architecture, drafting, or building design, be organized, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Drafting, Building Design, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of architectural design, construction drawings, and building components.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
• Knowledge of 3D BIM such as Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, or other design software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing architectural drawings, layouts, plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Prepare and update CAD drawings based on instructions from the project lead.
• Support coordination between architectural and structural drawings.
• Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, notes, and consistency.
• Help compile submission documents for authorities, clients, and contractors.
• Help with CORENET submission
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and clients when required.
• Maintain organized project files, drawings, revisions, and records.
• Assist in checking compliance with design requirements, building regulations, and project specifications.
• Support site visits and prepare site observation notes when needed.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivatedArchitect Assistantto support architectural and structural design projects. The ideal candidate will assist with preparing drawings, coordinating design information, supporting project documentation, and working closely with engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients.

This role is suitable for someone with a background in architecture, drafting, or building design who is organized, technically capable, and eager to grow in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.

• Ability to prepare 3D models.

• Understanding of Singapore Regulations such as PUB, URA or SCDF .

• Site experience or construction coordination experience is an advantage.

• Experience with Dormitory or SCDF requirements would be bonus and be rewarded accordingly

• Candidates with short notice period will be considered favourably
