Job summary

MKPL Architects PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced architectural professional to assist the office on a variety of architectural projects.

You will participate in project management, coordination with consultants, and site inspections to ensure quality and schedule adherence. The role requires a degree or diploma in architecture with at least 3 years of relevant experience, strong design passion, and the ability to work independently or within a proactive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support the office in various architectural projects.

• Resolve issues arising during construction to keep on schedule.

Job description

Role & Responsibilities:

• Assist and support the office in any type of architectural project.
• Project management and coordination.
• Progress monitoring and site inspections.
• Preparation of tender documents and specifications.
• To liaise and coordinate with external consultants and the client team.
• Resolve problems that arise during construction.
• Meet project schedules.
• To maintain high standards.

Expertise and Qualities:

• Degree and/or Diploma from a recognised university.
• Min. 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Passion for design, a commitment to continued learning and the desire to innovate.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently or within a team in a proactive studio environment.
• Ability to self-motivate with good time management skills.
• Ability to supervise and manage a team
• Familiarity with HDB projects is an advantage

Technical Expertise:

• Contract administration (SIA/PSSCOC forms of contract).
• Good technical knowledge and strong detailing capability.
• Be familiar with prevailing regulations and codes governing construction and architectural practice.
