Job summary

HLH Engineering & Construction PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable Project Coordinator to support architectural works by developing schedule programs that align with the master schedule and by coordinating subcontractors' progress and quality.

You will delegate tasks to general workers and supervisors, liaise with suppliers to plan deliveries, ensure timely material delivery to site, and assist the Project Manager with documentation and coordination meetings.

Responsibilities

• To develop a schedule program for the commencement and completion of all architectural works to tie in with master schedule.
• To coordinate monitor and control subcontractor’s progress and quality of work.
• To delegate work to the general workers/supervisors and ensure it is in compliance with company/authority standards.
• Liaise with suppliers on items needed for the project and plan the delivery schedule.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and material to site.
• Submission to consultants for materials, shop drawings and method statement approval before commencement of work.
• Attend project coordination meetings.
• Assist Project Manager in compilation of handling over documents including as-built drawings.
• Execute control measures on material/plant and equipment/utilities usage.
• Understand specifications, drawings, scope and sequence of work.
• Ability to propose alternative material/work method for architectural work.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings for any discrepancies.
