Job summary

TRENDBUILD CONTRACTS PTE. LTD. seeks an Architectural Coordinator to develop schedules for architectural works and tie them to the master schedule. You will coordinate and monitor subcontractors’ progress and quality, and delegate tasks to workers and supervisors to ensure compliance with standards.

You will liaise with suppliers to plan deliveries, ensure timely material delivery, and submit materials, shop drawings and method statements for consultant approval.

Qualifications

• To develop a schedule program for the commencement and completion of all architectural works to tie in with master schedule.
• To coordinate monitor and control Architectural subcontractor's progress and quality of work.
• To delegate work to the general workers/supervisors and ensure it is in compliance with company/authority standards.
• Liaise with suppliers on items needed for the project and plan the delivery schedule.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and material to site.
• Submission to consultants for materials, shop drawings and method statement approval before commencement of work.
• Arrange for architectural trade demonstration for consultant's approval.
• Arrange for testing of architectural materials.
• Liaise with consultants to resolve technical and detailing issues for architectural work.
• Attend project coordination meetings.
• Report to Project Manager the progress of architectural work.
• Assist Project Manager in compilation of handling over documents including as-built drawings.
• Execute control measures on material/plant and equipment/utilities usage.
• Understand specifications, drawings, scope and sequence of work.
• Ability to propose alternative material/work method for architectural work.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings for any discrepancies.
