Job summary

Avanade is seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 and AI Business Solutions professional to lead engagements around SharePoint Online and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. You will guide organizations on transformation journeys, support Copilot readiness, and collaborate with stakeholders to craft modernization roadmaps.

The role emphasizes consulting excellence, workshop facilitation, and governance, security, and information architecture across Microsoft 365 environments.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of IT consulting and solution delivery experience.
• Strong expertise in SharePoint Online and the Microsoft 365 suite.
• Experience facilitating workshops with senior stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of governance, security, compliance, and IA in Microsoft 365.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

A trusted advisor with strong Microsoft 365 and SharePoint expertise who can engage business stakeholders, lead solution discussions, and guide organizations on their Microsoft 365 transformation journey while supporting early-stage Microsoft Copilot conversations and adoption planning. Avanade is seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 and AI Business Solutions professional with deep expertise in SharePoint and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess strong consulting and solutioning skills, enabling organizations to maximize their digital workplace investments while supporting initial discussions around Microsoft Copilot adoption and readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements focused on Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and digital workplace transformation initiatives.
• Assess business requirements and translate them into scalable Microsoft-based solutions.
• Design and implement solutions leveraging SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, and other Microsoft 365 services.
• Conduct workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder discussions to identify opportunities for productivity and collaboration improvements.
• Provide advisory support and preliminary solution guidance on Microsoft Copilot readiness, adoption, governance, and use cases.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to develop roadmaps for Microsoft 365 modernization and AI-enabled workplace transformation.
• Support governance, security, compliance, and information architecture best practices within Microsoft 365 environments.
• Drive solution demonstrations, proof of concepts, and client presentations.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to capability development within the practice.

Qualifications

• Min 10-15 years of overall IT consulting and solution delivery experience.
• Strong expertise in SharePoint Online, and the Microsoft 365 suite.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 services including:
• SharePoint Online
• M365 Copilot & Copilot Studio
• Onedrive
• Outlook
• Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience facilitating business and technical workshops with senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 governance, security, compliance, and collaboration frameworks.
• Ability to support initial Microsoft Copilot conversations, including readiness assessments, business value discussions, and adoption planning.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and consulting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Microsoft 365 migration, modernization, or digital workplace transformation programs.
• Understanding of Power Platform capabilities, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Microsoft certifications in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or related technologies.
• Experience working in global delivery and consulting environments.
