Job summary

A*STAR—the Agency for Science, Technology and Research in Singapore—seeks a seasoned leader to head Accounts Receivable, strengthening governance, credit risk management, and digital transformation. You will guide daily AR operations, oversee SLA/KPI performance, and partner with RIs and internal units to ensure accurate invoicing and timely collections.

Applicants should have a degree in accounting or finance and at least 3 years’ AR/finance operations experience with supervisory exposure; SAP

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of AR/credit management or finance operations experience with supervisory exposure.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, ERP systems, data analytics and digital transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with AI, automation and emerging technologies in finance operations is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily AR operations and ensure SLA/KPI performance.
• Review AR reports, customer ageing, collections, and receivables for accuracy and timely follow-up.
• Review ECL computations and customer credit assessments; set limits and provisions.
• Drive governance, compliance, audits, and process standardisation.
• Lead ERP enhancements, automation and AI initiatives for AR efficiency.
• Partner with stakeholders including RIs, Finance, IT, and banks; manage budgets and banking transactions.
