Job summary

A*STAR Research in Singapore invites applications for Senior Associates/Associates to join the Finance team and support Statutory Board Finance Operations. You will handle receivables/payables, fixed assets, month‑end closing, monthly management reporting, budgeting exercises, asset tagging, and audit support, including vendor management and automation projects.

Diploma in Accountancy or Finance experience is preferred with strong analytical and communication skills, plus proficiency in MS

Qualifications

• Preferably Diploma in Accountancy or Finance related experience.
• Strong analytical, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• High learning agility, adaptability and perseverance.
• Able to multi-task and deliver results under tight timelines.
• Meticulous, well organized and resourceful.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of SAP system and dashboarding tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable invoices, staff and scholars claims, fixed assets capitalisation and disposal.
• Provide support in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Provide support to team in preparation of monthly management reporting.
• Support divisions in annual budget exercise, fixed assets tagging and annual verification exercise.
• Assist in internal and external audits, and AGO audits.
• Provide support to projects (e.g. automation and digitalisation projects).
• Other tasks e.g. Accounts Payable duties like vendor management.
