Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable Application DBA to perform database administration, design, tuning, and documentation to meet customer expectations. The role focuses on maintaining performance, governance, and disaster recovery readiness while guiding junior DBAs and collaborating with application teams.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of DB administration experience and hands-on work with SQL Server or PostgreSQL, including Oracle-to- SQL Server or Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migrations.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in database administration.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Experience in database migration projects (Oracle to SQL Server or Oracle to PostgreSQL).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize database performance and availability.
• Manage database operations and governance, including configuration and documentation.
• Lead backup/restore procedures and disaster recovery planning.
• Review database design and recommend improvements to data models.
• Establish and enforce database standards and procedures.
