Job summary

OpenAI is seeking an Applied AI Engineer, Cyber to partner with customers and help them deploy OpenAI models and tools to cybersecurity use cases. You will work with CISOs, security leaders, and practitioners to design architectures and deploy safe AI workflows at scale.

You will collaborate with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product, Engineering, Research, and Security to turn customer needs into practical, safe deployment patterns and reusable assets for the field, based in our Singapore

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical consulting, solutions engineering, or equivalent customer-facing experience.
• Strong cybersecurity domain expertise across AppSec, cloud security, identity, vulnerability management, or incident response.
• Hands-on experience building prototypes or production systems with APIs, Python or JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Embed with strategic customers as the technical lead for AI-enabled cybersecurity workflows.
• Lead discovery across AppSec, DevSecOps, SOC/IR, detection engineering, cloud security and GRC automation.
• Build and deliver demos, prototypes, workshops, PoCs, and reference architectures using OpenAI APIs and related tools.
• Scope pilots with clear success criteria, data requirements, and human approval points.
