Job summary

CORNING SINGAPORE HOLDINGS PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a technical field engineer for customer-facing engagements across the product lifecycle in Singapore. You will support design-in, field trials, and joint development activities while acting as a key interface between customers and internal teams.

The role requires handling on-site investigations, delivering technical guidance, and collaborating with Sales and Manufacturing to address issues and drive successful adoption of PCS solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or applied science, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in optical fibers and connectivity.
• Ability to engage with customers at a technical level and convey value.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and communicate across levels.

Responsibilities

• Support design-in, field trials, and product evaluations with customers.
• Conduct on-site investigations of technical and product issues.
• Act as primary point of contact to resolve field technical and quality issues.
• Support sales demos/presentations at customer sites and events.
• Provide training, troubleshooting, and field support for successful adoption.
• Evaluate Corning and competitor products to aid customer decisions.
• Gather competitive feedback to Product Line Management and Sales.
