Job summary

TechTree in Singapore is seeking a Field Application Engineer at the intersection of photonic engineering, AI, and customer deployment. You will own the technical relationship with PIC designers, EDA vendors, and foundry partners, translating complex real-world challenges into AI-assisted workflows that ship and scale.

The role requires 5+ years in photonic product development, hands-on with simulation and EDA tools, and excellent communication with device engineers, managers, and enterprise

Qualifications

• Degree in photonics or related engineering field with MSc or PhD.
• 5+ years in photonic product development.
• Experience with simulation and EDA tools.
• Strong communication with engineers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Architect AI-assisted workflows for photonic design and yield improvement.
• Translate engineering processes into verifiable AI workflows.
• Identify bottlenecks and deliver solutions with EDA tools.
• Build models across process corners and variability.
• Feed learnings back into platform roadmap.
