Job summary

Corning Singapore Holdings Pte Ltd is seeking a customer-facing Technical Engagement Specialist to drive design-in, deployment, and adoption of PCS solutions across the product lifecycle.

In this role, you will collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, and Product teams, support field trials and product evaluations, and provide technical guidance and training to customers. Travel up to 50% within the region may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree - Engineering, Applied Science, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in optical fibers and connectivity.
• Frequent customer interactions at technical level.
• Work independently with little supervision.
• Interface and communicate effectively with all levels of personnel, internal and external.

Responsibilities

• Support customer co-design activities, field trials, and product evaluations.
• Complete on-site investigations of technical and product issues raised by customers.
• Act as the primary means of field remediation to resolve technical and quality issues at customer sites.
• Support sales demonstrations/presentations at customer sites and trade shows.
• Perform training, troubleshooting and field support as needed to ensure successful adoption.
• Conduct product evaluations on Corning and competitor products to support design-in and customer decision making.
• Provide technical recommendations and feedback to Sales, Product Line Management, and Manufacturing to solve issues.
• Travel to manufacturing facilities when needed to support cross-functional issue resolution.
