Job summary

RECRUIT123 PTE. LTD. is seeking a Photonics R&D Engineer in Singapore to support the development of next-generation optical component technologies.

The role involves designing, simulating, and characterizing photonic components and ICs, and collaborating with manufacturing partners for process development and qualification. The candidate should have 3+ years in photonics design or related fields, and be proficient with photonics simulation and layout tools.

Qualifications

3+ years hands-on experience in photonics design, integration, or process engineering.
Familiar with photonics simulation and layout tools.
Experience working with external manufacturing/foundry partners is a plus.
Strong analytical and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design, simulate, and characterize photonic components and integrated circuits.
Work with manufacturing partners on process development and product qualification.
Develop test methodologies for optical device characterization.
Collaborate cross-functionally with packaging, process, and systems engineering teams.
Document design rules and manufacturing specifications.
