Job summary

Peoplebank Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and maintain critical business systems in an Oracle-based environment.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability, performance, and continuous improvement, including deployments, testing and production releases.

The role requires strong Oracle skills and hands-on PL/SQL experience, in a Singapore onsite setting for a 12-month contract.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in application support or software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle ADF.
• Experience with PL/SQL, stored procedures and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Provide application support by identifying, investigating and resolving issues across critical business systems.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance system reliability and performance.

Application Support Engineer (Oracle Forms / ADF / PL/SQL)

Location: Singapore (Onsite)

Salary: Up to SGD 6,500/month

Onsite work arrangement in Singapore

Employment Type: 12-Month Contract (Renewable, subject to project needs)

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer to provide technical support, troubleshoot application issues, and maintain critical business systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability, performance, and continuous improvement while supporting enterprise Oracle-based applications.

• Provide application support by identifying, investigating and resolving issues across critical business systems.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance system reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot application, database and integration issues.
• Collaborate with developers, business users and infrastructure teams to implement system enhancements.
• Document troubleshooting procedures, technical solutions and system changes.
• Support application deployments, testing and production releases.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to team members.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies to improve application support processes.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in application support or software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports, including form triggers, built-ins, libraries and runtime configuration.
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle ADF (Application Development Framework).
• Strong PL/SQL programming skills, including stored procedures, functions, database schema design and performance tuning.
• Experience supporting or modernising legacy Oracle applications and integrating them with newer platforms.
• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies and structured testing practices.
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting applications using Oracle WebLogic or equivalent middleware is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
