Job summary

Luxoft Singapore, partnering with a leading bank in Asia, is seeking an experienced software developer to join our GTO team in Singapore. The role covers full software development lifecycle from requirements analysis to production support.

You will work on system integration projects, using VB/.NET and Java, with SQL, Linux and scripting, collaborating with senior architects to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 6 years’ relevant experience.
• Experienced developer, with good experience in system integration/interfacing.
• Strong experience in Application Development using VB/.NET and Java.
• Strong hands-on experience in SQL and database technologies.
• Experience working with Red Hat Linux and Shell Scripting.

Responsibilities

• Requirements analysis, mapping design, technical specification, programming, code review, unit testing, SIT, UAT support, and deployment.
• Support Application Delivery on assigned projects and collaborate with senior developers and architects.

• Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

Responsibilities:

• The primary work comprises of requirement analysis, mapping design, technical specification, programming, code review, job scheduling, perform unit test and SIT, support UAT, deploy to production, post implementation support, and technical documentation.
• Will be assigned to work on specific projects and is expected to support the Application Delivery.
• You will typically be assigned to work on specific projects and is expected to support the Application Delivery.
• Manager (ADM) in all relevant technical matters, end-to-end, within the project.
• Depending on the project, your duties may include coding, scripting, building new systems (where necessary) and interfaces. For new system build-up, you may need to environment support during SIT/UAT.
• You are expected to ensure your work are adequately documented and transferred to the production team post-cutover.
• You will be expected to work with the senior developers and system architect in formulating technical solutions that is fit for purpose for your assigned projects. The solution will need to satisfy all security, regulatory and architectural standards.

Mandatory Skills Description:
