Job summary

Luxoft Singapore is seeking an experienced applications developer to support delivery across multiple projects for a leading bank in Asia. The role covers requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment and post-implementation support within a structured governance framework.

The ideal candidate has deep hands-on experience with VB/.NET and Java, strong SQL skills, and comfort working in Linux environments.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Must be the experienced developer, with good experience in system integration/interfacing.
• Strong experience in Application Development using VB/.NET and Java.
• Strong hands-on experience in SQL and database technologies.
• Experience working with Red Hat Linux and Shell Scripting.

Responsibilities

• Perform requirement analysis, mapping design, technical specification, programming, code review, job scheduling, unit testing and SIT.
• Support UAT, deploy to production, and provide post-implementation support and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with manager and senior developers to formulate technically sound solutions that satisfy security, regulatory and architectural standards.
• Code, script and build interfaces; provide environment support during SIT/UAT as needed.
• Ensure documentation is prepared and handed over to production teams after cutover.

About the Role

The role involves working on specific projects and supporting the Application Delivery, ensuring that all technical matters are addressed end-to-end within the project.

Responsibilities

• The primary work comprises of requirement analysis, mapping design, technical specification, programming, code review, job scheduling, perform unit test and SIT, support UAT, deploy to production, post implementation support, and technical documentation.
• Will be assigned to work on specific projects and is expected to support the Application Delivery.
• Manager (ADM) in all relevant technical matters, end-to-end, within the project.
• Depending on the project, your duties may include coding, scripting, building new systems (where necessary) and interfaces. For new system build-up, you may need to environment support during SIT/UAT.
• You are expected to ensure your work are adequately documented and transferred to the production team post-cutover.
• You will be expected to work with the senior developers and system architect in formulating technical solutions that is fit for purpose for your assigned projects. The solution will need to satisfy all security, regulatory and architectural standards.
