OPTIMUM SOLUTIONS (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD seeks a resilient Production Support Analyst with 5+ years in Corporate or Retail Banking IT to ensure high availability and rapid incident resolution for digital banking platforms using Linux, Java, and Oracle technologies.

You will handle L1.5/L2 support, troubleshoot Java issues, automate tasks with Python or Shell, and participate in DR exercises to bolster business continuity.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of IT experience in Financial Services supporting internet banking, mobile apps, and APIs.
• Proven operational expertise as Production Support Analyst or System Administrator in Linux/Unix and Oracle.
• Hands-on Java performance troubleshooting, including debugging code and complex database queries.
• Automation experience with Unix Shell scripting or Python.
• Experience with ITIL frameworks and ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or BMC Helix.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver L1.5/L2 production support by managing incident and problem resolution to maintain availability of core banking systems, APIs, and digital channels.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Java application performance issues by debugging code, scripts, and writing complex database queries.
• Manage file transfers using Connect Direct, IBM MQ, and SFTP protocols to ensure secure and reliable data exchange.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks using Unix Shell scripting or Python to improve service efficiency and reduce manual errors.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises and resilience architecture design to enhance system robustness and business continuity.
• Communicate technical issues clearly to stakeholders and vendors during major incidents, following ITIL frameworks and using ITSM tools such as BMC Helix or ServiceNow.

• Proven operational expertise as a Production Support Analyst or System Administrator in Linux/Unix and Oracle environments.
• Hands-on skills troubleshooting Java application performance, including code/script debugging and complex database query writing.
• Proficiency in automation using Unix Shell scripting or Python.
• Experience with Connect Direct, IBM MQ, and Host-to-Host (SFTP) file transfer protocols.
• Practical experience with ITIL frameworks and ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow or BMC Helix.
• Strong multitasking ability, attention to detail, composure under crisis, and effective communication across organizational levels.
