TALENTWORKZ PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an established IT professional to join our production support team as an experienced SRE/IT operations engineer.

You will own incident triage, drive RCAs, monitor system health, automate repetitive tasks, and support deployments across environments. The role emphasizes rigorous adherence to ITIL and security policies within banking/financial domains, delivering reliable services, maintaining runbooks, and contributing to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in IT production support, SRE or related roles in banking/financial domains.
• Strong Unix/Linux and shell scripting experience.
• Solid database experience with SQL (Oracle, MySQL, or MariaDB).
• Experience with middleware, enterprise messaging (MQ), and API integrations.
• Exposure to containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes.

Responsibilities

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Incident & Problem Management: Monitor production systems proactively, manage and triage L2/L3 incidents, coordinate resolution efforts, and adhere to strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Lead formal and informal post-event problem reviews, identify systemic issues, and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
• System Monitoring & Health Checks: Proactively manage production services by tracking availability, latency, throughput, user journeys, and infrastructure health metrics using enterprise monitoring tools.
• Automation & SRE Mindset: Drive continuous improvement by automating routine operational tasks, removing toil, optimizing performance tuning, and implementing scripting/tools to increase efficiency.
• Release & Deployment Support: Support application deployments, release activities, configuration updates, and post-deployment validation across various environments.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure complete alignment with banking security policies, audit regulations, Business Continuity Planning(BCP), and Disaster Recovery (DR) requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain and update technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), operational runbooks, and knowledge-base articles.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of professional IT experience, focusing heavily on application production support, operations, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) within banking/financial domains.
• Strong proficiency inUnix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
