Job summary

Helius Technologies Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an Applications Support Specialist to provide Level 1/2 support for critical applications. You will perform data investigations with Oracle SQL/PLSQL, gather requirements, and work with business users and development teams across the SDLC.

Responsibilities include translating requirements into implementation plans, supporting change requests and enhancements, and coordinating UAT with defect tracking and validation of results.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Application Consultant, Technical Business Analyst, Application Support Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including writing queries, data analysis and investigating database issues.
• Experience providing Level 1 and Level 2 application support in production or BAU environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills for data investigation and incidents.
• Good understanding of the end-to-end SDLC, including requirements gathering, impact analysis, development coordination, testing, UAT, deployment and post-implementation support.
• Experience managing change requests, enhancements and defect resolution.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with business users and technical teams.
• Good analytical, documentation and problem-solving skills.

• Translate business requirements into functional specs, technical requirements, and implementation plans.
• Support implementation of change requests, enhancements, and fixes aligned with business needs.
• Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenarios, defect tracking and validation of results.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 application support for business-critical applications, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and operational issues.

• Perform data investigation, SQL queries, and root cause analysis using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL to identify and resolve application and data-related issues.

• Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders to support application changes and enhancements.

• Work closely with business users, application development teams, and technical stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, technical requirements, and implementation plans.

• Support the implementation of change requests, application enhancements, and fixes, ensuring alignment with business requirements and operational needs.

• Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenario preparation, defect tracking, issue resolution, and validation of test results.
