Job summary

NEC is seeking a capable professional to support the Timesheet System globally. You will initiate change requests, conduct UAT/SIT, and coordinate with regional teams and the global system owner to ensure timely execution of system-related activities.

You will act as a liaison between vendors, end-users and internal teams, evaluate existing functionalities and suggest enhancements to improve performance. You will also update training materials and deliver regional sessions to drive system

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Exposure to application/system development.
• Knowledge in SQL scripting.
• Knowledge of Automation tools is an advantage.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Keen to learn and upgrade.
• Able to work independently and effectively with team.
• Able to think creatively and work under pressure.

The candidate’s primary responsibility to support Timesheet System for NEC globally:

• Initiate and manage Change Requests, execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and System Integration Testing (SIT) for Timesheet system.
• Coordinate with regional counterparts and global system owner to align and execute system-related activities and initiatives.
• Act as a liaison between vendors, end-users, and internal teams to provide ongoing support and resolve technical or process issues.
• Evaluate existing system functionalities and recommend enhancements to improve performance and user experience.
• Maintain and update user training materials; deliver periodic training sessions for regional users to ensure system adoption and proficiency.
• Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by reporting manager(s).

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Exposure to application/system development, and know-how is required.
• Knowledge in SQL scripting.
• Knowledge of Automation tools will be an advantage.
