Job summary

Amazon Leo Regulatory is seeking a Lead, Licensing & Regulatory Affairs for APJ to own the development and execution of licensing strategies across the region, including satellite systems and spectrum use. You will work with regulators, industry bodies, and cross‑functional teams to ensure compliant service delivery and navigate ITAR/EAR export controls.

Qualifications

Master's degree or above in a relevant discipline (e.g. Law, Political Science, Public Policy)
Experience with government officials and regulatory bodies
Experience in spectrum management and securing licenses for telecom services internationally

Responsibilities

Develop and execute licensing plans across APAC countries, securing authorizations for satellite systems and services
Engage with regulators and industry stakeholders to advocate for favourable policies for NGSO systems
Identify regulatory risks and ensure cross‑functional compliance with business, legal, policy and engineering teams
Represent Amazon Leo in national and regional telecom organizations and coordinate with the International Regulatory team
