Job summary

Omni Logistics, LLC in APAC seeks a senior IT leader who will drive the regional development and applications team focused on the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and warehouse automation.

You will own the WMS roadmap, ensure security and scalability, manage releases, and collaborate with Global IT to uphold enterprise standards while enabling expansion across the region. Mandarin and English proficiency are required due to multi-country stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• Experience leading software development teams across multiple sites.
• Hands-on software background and ability to read code.
• Experience with business applications and system integration.
• Experience in multi-site/matrix organizations.
• Business-level English and Mandarin to work with teams in China, HK and Taiwan.

Responsibilities

• Own the WMS technical direction, roadmap and release planning.
• Ensure WMS secure, reliable, scalable and meets operational needs.
• Plan and prioritise releases with the team and stakeholders.
• Support rollout of the WMS to new countries and customers.
• Oversee integration between the WMS and enterprise, customer, third-party and warehouse automation systems.
• Oversee analytics and documentation for applications decisions and process documentation.
• Evaluate and adopt AI initiatives with standards for tool selection and usage.
• Lead and develop the regional development and applications team; manage budget and vendors.
