Job summary

Amazon Asia-Pacific Resources Private Limited (Singapore) is seeking a Regional Transportation Manager for APAC to lead day-to-day transport operations, vendor management, and process improvements across our AWS logistics network.

This role requires data-driven decision making, strong communication across internal and external teams, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Procurement, Logistics, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Analysis, Construction, or other related fields.
• 3+ years of transportation and supply chain experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience in vendor management.
• Experience in managing international transportation (air, ground, ocean).

Responsibilities

• Act as point of escalation for transportation vendor related issues.
• Manage vendor operational excellence through data driven metrics.
• Implement and execute transportation strategies that support short and long term goals.
• Daily tactical communication with external vendors (Logistics Service Providers) and internal customers on operational and safety matters.
• Work with multiple stakeholder teams to develop and implement new best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement in the operational environment internally and externally.
• Ensure compliance with standards and regulations across transportation operations.
