Job summary

Deutsche Bank AG in Singapore seeks an Asia Pacific Transaction Reporting Lead to provide strategic direction and end-to-end accountability for regulatory reporting across multiple jurisdictions. You will lead regional teams, own reporting quality and governance, and drive transformation initiatives including AI-enabled solutions.

The role requires deep regulatory knowledge, stakeholder engagement, and proven leadership to influence global strategy within a complex, cross-border environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in financial institutions within Corporate/Investment Banking environment.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in transaction regulatory reporting.
• Proven experience in Transformation / process re-engineering / AI tool related projects for regulatory reporting.
• Demonstrated experience as the accountable senior manager for a critical regulatory reporting function.
• Experience engaging with regulators, auditors, internal senior stakeholders and control functions.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and accountability for Transaction Reporting across Asia Pacific, ensuring delivery against regulatory and strategic objectives.
• Lead regional leadership teams, including Vice Presidents and their organisations.
• Own reporting quality, performance, control effectiveness and resilience across jurisdictions.
• Represent IB and CB Operations in regional executive forums and governance committees.
• Define and execute Asia Transaction Reporting strategy including regulatory change, remediation, and platform modernization.
• Lead regulatory examinations, inspections, and audit interactions.
• Partner with Technology and Change to deliver strategic investments and reporting solutions.
• Coach and develop regional teams and build talent and succession plans.
• Drive organisation design and capability enhancement for future growth.
