Job summary

OpenAI seeks a Technical Program Manager to lead manufacturing operations programs for AI servers and related infrastructure across APAC partners. You will own cross-functional execution from NPI through production ramp, coordinating hardware, quality, supply chain, and deployment teams to meet delivery commitments.

The role requires strong technical fluency, disciplined program management, and the ability to work with factory partners in fast-moving environments across Singapore and beyond.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technical program management, manufacturing operations, or similar.
• Experience leading hardware products from development to production ramp and sustaining operations.
• Direct collaboration with ODMs, JDMs, and contract manufacturers or factory teams.
• Technical familiarity with servers, racks, networking gear, and related hardware.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing readiness, capacity planning and change control.
• Proven ability to drive cross-functional programs with engineering, quality, supply chain, and operations.
• Ability to use production data to identify constraints and drive improvements.
• Experience handling high-severity escalations and driving corrective actions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to briefing executives.
• Bachelor-level engineering or related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing operations programs for AI servers, racks, and related infrastructure across APAC partners.
• Own end-to-end plans: NPI, factory readiness, material availability, tooling, test, qualification, ramp and shipment.
• Coordinate across Hardware Eng, Manufacturing Eng, Quality, Supply Chain, Logistics, Deployment, and Operations.
• Drive readiness reviews and establish entry/exit criteria for production releases.
• Partner with ODMs, JDMs, contract manufacturers, and suppliers on build plans and capacity.
• Track metrics: yield, cycle time, throughput, WIP, defects, on-time delivery.
• Identify risks and coordinate containment, root-cause, and corrective actions.
• Manage engineering changes and documentation for transition from NPI to sustaining production.
• Create dashboards and updates for senior technical and operational stakeholders.
• Develop repeatable playbooks to scale across multiple platforms and suppliers.
