Job summary

Thakral One, a Singapore-headquartered consulting and technology services company, seeks a Project Manager - APAC AI to lead delivery of complex AI initiatives across the region, ensuring execution within scope, budget, and timelines.

You will partner with business, technology, risk, compliance and PMO stakeholders to maximise value while embedding responsible AI, governance, data privacy, and regulatory compliance across regional programmes.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years IT project management experience.
• 2–4+ years leading large, complex initiatives.
• Experience delivering AI, GenAI, data analytics, or data platform programmes.
• Experience in regulated environments such as banking or financial services.
• Regional initiatives involving multiple stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI/IT projects from initiation through closure.
• Define scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Develop integrated project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, dependencies and changes.
• Act as primary contact for senior stakeholders, governance, and vendors.
• Oversee AI platform initiatives aligned with enterprise standards.
• Ensure responsible AI, data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare status reports, dashboards, and governance artefacts.
• Mentor junior project managers when required.
• Manage project financials, budgets, forecasting, and vendor performance.
