Job summary

Anthropic is seeking an International Accounting expert (APAC) to join our Singapore hub. You will build local compliance frameworks across APAC entities and run monthly financial reviews with global teams, supporting intercompany processes and tax compliance.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of accounting experience, a bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, and CA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent. Strong US GAAP and IFRS knowledge, plus ERP experience with Workday or NetSuite, are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of accounting experience in high-growth environments with APAC exposure.
• Professional certification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.

Responsibilities

• Build local compliance frameworks across APAC entities aligning with local laws and global standards.
• Establish monthly local financial statement reviews with variance explanations.
• Develop and adapt international finance policies for regional needs and local approvals.
• Execute monthly consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and journal entries.
• Manage intercompany transactions and transfer pricing documentation.
• Manage FX transactions and currency consolidation for risk control.
• Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts for accuracy.
• Support statutory audits of APAC entities with documentation.
• Support tax framework development across jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with US-based teams to align international operations.
• Leverage tech and tools to drive automation and finance transformation.
