Job summary

Anthropic is seeking an International Accounting expert (APAC) to establish and scale local accounting operations from our Singapore hub. You will own local compliance, monthly consolidation, intercompany accounting, and tax support across APAC entities, partnering with global teams to drive finance transformation.

The role requires 8+ years in accounting, US GAAP/IFRS knowledge, and experience with ERP systems like Workday or NetSuite.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of accounting experience, preferably in high-growth environments with multi-country exposure across APAC.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
• Qualified accountant with professional certification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Build and implement frameworks for local compliance across APAC entities, aligning local statutory requirements with global standards.
• Establish local financial statement review processes, including monthly flux analyses and variance explanations.
• Manage intercompany transactions, consolidations, eliminations, and journal entries for group reporting.
