Job summary

Visa’s Asia Pacific Corporate Strategy team in Singapore leads long-term regional planning and market-specific initiatives. The Director will guide analytical work, coordinate cross-functional programs, and shape strategies aligned with global priorities.

Based in Singapore with a hybrid work model, the role emphasizes stakeholder engagement, thought leadership, and driving growth across Asia Pacific in coordination with regional and global leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Economics, Business or similar fields.
• MBA or relevant graduate degree from top-tier institution or similar academic / professional experience preferred.
• 10 - 12 years of experience in management consulting and / or internal strategy role in a global company.
• Ability to independently lead or support projects with multiple workstreams, with proven leadership success over a wide variety of functional business problems.
• Ability to structure and manage complex cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders at both senior and junior levels.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor, and attention to detail.
• Experience working with economic theories, strategic and prioritization frameworks, scenarios analysis, and competitive assessment.
• Self-starter, collaborative, and flexible, with ability to function independently in an ambiguous and evolving environment.
• Pro-active and effective communicator, experienced in presenting information to all levels and with ability to facilitate group discussions and debate.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and proven experience of project management.

Responsibilities

• Structure and solve business problems, collaborating and coordinating with a range of internal stakeholders to make recommendations on a wide range of business issues.
• Build out unique, creative and impactful solutions by integrating insights across Visa's many expert functional resources and supporting collaborative solution development.
• Develop rigorous, fact based, quantitative analysis to support recommendations. Ensure strategic and financial soundness and alignment for any recommendations.
• Work closely with cross-functional and regional management teams on strategic projects, bringing timely and useful insight and analytical support.
• Communicate recommendations to in a clear, concise and impactful way.
• Provide continuous coaching and training to junior resources in the strategy team.
