Job summary

ICANN is seeking a Stakeholder Engagement professional for the APAC region. The role partners with regional stakeholders, including government and registries, to expand ICANN’s presence and deepen engagement through policy and public affairs work.

The candidate will assist the Director, Stakeholder Engagement – APAC, oversee engagement plans, and lead regional programs in collaboration with the regional community. Strong communication of ICANN policies is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in public policy, international affairs, communications or IT.
• Minimum eight years of work experience in a multinational or international org.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine the APAC Regional Plan in line with ICANN strategy.
• Collaborate with ICANN teams to implement regional initiatives.
• Analyze information to identify gaps and trends affecting ICANN.
• Lead programs and initiatives with ICANN and regional community.
• Maintain relationships with government, registries, and other stakeholders.
• Communicate ICANN policies and activities to diverse groups.
• Represent ICANN at policy forums, industry events, and online channels.
• Contribute content about ICANN activities on social media and blogs.
• Engage in research and writing on regional Internet developments.
