Project Management Institute (PMI) Asia Pacific seeks a Community Development Specialist to plan, coordinate, and deliver priority initiatives across the APAC region. You will enable effective execution through chapters, student programs, and CIP-aligned activities, while growing program ownership over time.

You will build strong relationships with volunteers and stakeholders, manage multiple projects, and contribute to a learning culture across the region.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in community management, engagement, development, or a related role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management and organizational tools is a plus.
• Experience supporting multi-stakeholder initiatives with competing timelines and dependencies.
• Experience working with student, academic, or early-career audiences is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Strong sense of ownership, follow through, and ability to bring structure to early stage or ambiguous initiatives.
• Experience in event and/or association management a plus.
• Experience building and sustaining broad relationship/account management programs and learning culture.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, including demonstrated team-based operational and strategic results.
• Proficiency in English is required; additional SEA language skills are an asset.
• Travel 10-15%+.

Responsabilidades

• Support planning, coordination, and delivery of priority community initiatives across APAC.
• Enable effective execution across student, CIP aligned, and specialized community initiatives.
• Build toward deeper program ownership over time.
• Serve as liaison and coordination point for emerging volunteer, specialized, and CIP aligned initiatives.
• Identify delivery gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities; make recommendations to regional leadership.
• Progressively take on greater ownership of defined programs based on demonstrated capability.
• Support additional time bound or ad hoc initiatives as assigned by regional leadership.
