Job summary

Agilent Technologies Singapore (International) Pte Ltd is seeking an APAC Operations Manager to lead Service Parts Logistics across Asia-Pacific. The role will base at an Agilent site in Singapore and oversee a 7-person team with coverage across Australia, India, Japan, Singapore, China and South Korea.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent plus directly relevant experience.
• 2–3 years’ experience leading people, projects or programs at entry to this level.
• Knowledge and experience of Trade Compliance rules applicable to a US headquartered Multinational Corporation.
• Track record of managing Logistics Service Providers and driving improvements and efficiencies.
• Demonstrated ability to work with overseas/international colleagues and business partners.
• Qualification/Certification and experience in Continuous Improvement Methodology (e.g. LEAN or Six Sigma).
• Analytical mindset.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Excellent inter personal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Service Parts Logistics (SPL) in Asia-Pacific including 7 staff across multiple countries.
• Drive growth, efficiencies and cost reductions to support Global Logistics goals.
• Support enterprise initiatives in Ignite Transformation Relocation.
• Ensure compliance with external and internal requirements.
• Develop and nurture relationships with Agilent business partners.
• Manage logistics service providers for warehousing and transportation in APAC.
• Align with global process standards and collaborate with regional SPL managers.
