Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking a Sales Engineer to strengthen our APAC team. The role focuses on identifying customer value early in the sales cycle and translating it into winning technical solutions with competitive pricing.

You will support, challenge, and team up with the Sales Manager during pre-bid, bid, and closing phases to secure projects. Fluent English and a technical degree are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Electro-mechanical Engineering, Logistics, or similar.
• Excellent in the English language, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Defines sales tactics together with the Sales Manager and acts accordingly.
• Solves commercial/tactical issues and challenges directly with the Sales Manager.
• Organises all sales engineering deliverables through all sales phases (pre-bid to handover).
• Involves technical experts to develop best possible conceptual designs.
• Leads internal sales support team (procurement, planning, concept design, controls).
• Ensures all procedural steps follow the sales process checklists on time.
• Sets priorities across multiple projects and sales phases.
