ACT Group seeks a proactive professional to grow its renewable energy asset portfolio across APAC. You will identify asset owners, onboard facilities for REC registration, and propose commercial structures for ACT to manage and monetise RECs.

The role combines business development, relationship management, and negotiations, requiring market mapping, direct outreach, and collaboration with asset owners and developers to build a robust pipeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/master's degree, preferably in Energy, Environmental, Electricity, Business and/or other similar fields.
• 2 years experience in the power sector, ESG, particularly in solar project development or EPC sales.
• Experience in business development, renewable energy, environmental commodities, power markets or related sectors.
• Existing relationships with renewable energy asset owners, project developers, utilities, or grid-related organizations in APAC is desirable.
• Strong business development capabilities including prospecting, cold outreach, relationship building, and pipeline development.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in negotiating agreements and developing commercial or offtake structures.
• Ability to understand renewable energy and REC market dynamics and translate market information to action.
• Strong stakeholder-management across commercial, trading, and operational teams.

Responsabilités

• Identify, prospect, and engage renewable energy asset owners, developers, utilities across APAC to build a pipeline.
• Conduct proactive business development activities including cold calling, direct outreach, meetings and presentations.
• Educate asset owners on REC registration, issuance, and ACT’s capabilities in monetizing environmental attributes.
• Develop strategies to access asset owners and expand portfolio under management.
• Identify REC sales opportunities and develop commercial solutions for asset owners.
• Negotiate terms and finalize REC management or offtake agreements.
• Coordinate asset registration with registries and ensure timely REC issuance.
• Monitor registration pipeline and provide updates to commercial and trading teams.
• Collaborate with trading and front-office teams on REC demand, pricing, and market opportunities.
• Stay informed on APAC REC markets and regulatory changes; formulate market-entry strategies.
