Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in Renewable Energy and/or Power insurance markets.
• Detailed understanding of underwriting with awareness of risk factors and global market context.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with stakeholder engagement.
• Willingness to develop a Singapore and international distribution network.

Responsibilities

• Develop underwriting strategy and business plan for Singapore and APAC.
• Foster relationships with new and existing brokers.
• Promote products through events and meetings, including international travel.
• Apply sound underwriting judgment while monitoring performance against plan.
• Implement risk management practices and governance controls.
• Provide underwriting support to overseas offices and handle referrals.
• Develop associates to reach their potential and improve processes.
• Monitor portfolio performance and drive end-to-end process improvements.
• Prioritise exceptional customer experience with fast response times.
