Job summary

Plume is hiring a Regional Lead to build our presence across Asia‑Pacific—a region spanning Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Japan, plus emerging markets. You will drive partnerships with exchanges, asset managers, and fintechs, and strengthen regulatory relationships across diverse markets.

You will lead GTM execution, engage regulators, and represent Plume at conferences while growing developer and user communities across APAC. English fluency required, regional language preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of business development or institutional partnerships in APAC crypto/fintech.
• Fluency in English plus at least one regional language (Mandarin, Korean, or Japanese strongly preferred).
• Existing network across regional exchanges, asset managers, or regulators.
• Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals and ability to operate credibly with both crypto-native and traditional institutional counterparties.
• Comfortable managing a large, diverse region independently with significant time zone spread.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute GTM strategy across priority APAC markets (Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, and emerging markets).
• Source and close partnerships with regional exchanges, asset managers, custodians, and fintechs.
• Engage with regulators (MAS, SFC, FSC) and industry bodies to support compliant expansion.
• Coordinate with global Legal and Compliance on treaty withholding, licensing, and cross-border structuring considerations.
• Represent Plume at major regional conferences and community events; act as primary regional spokesperson.
• Build and nurture regional developer and user communities across key APAC hubs.
• Report on regional pipeline, partnerships, and adoption metrics to global leadership.
