Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, science, pharmacy, medicine or another relevant discipline required; an advanced degree or MBA is preferred.
• At least eight years of progressive commercial experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device or healthcare industry.
• Strong experience in strategic marketing, commercial strategy, sales leadership, commercial excellence or a related role.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross‑functional and cross‑geographic teams, including influence without direct authority.
• Experience developing business plans, launch strategies, portfolio choices and investment recommendations.
• Experience in Immunology, Gastroenterology or IBD is strongly preferred.
• Asia Pacific regional or multi‑market experience and understanding of market access, regulatory and customer dynamics are strongly preferred.
• Experience with financial planning, budget management and business‑case development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and deployment of the Asia Pacific IBD commercial strategy and business plan, integrating global direction with the needs of diverse markets across the region.
• Translate market, customer, competitor, access and patient insights into clear strategic choices, priorities and resource recommendations.
• Drive growth and competitiveness for the in-market IBD portfolio, with disciplined performance tracking and timely action to close execution gaps.
• Lead regional launch readiness and lifecycle planning, including market shaping, indication expansion, customer strategy and go-to-market choices.
• Manage regional budgets and investment choices, monitor operating expenses and recommend trade-offs based on expected business and patient impact.
